LATELY IN HOUSTON

You get ballet, you get ballet, everyone gets Ballet! For more than 15 years, Houston ballet has been quietly building one of the country’s most adaptive and accessible dance programs offering people of all ages and abilities to experience the joy of dance. Their impact has been momentous so far with serving over 61,000 students in over 280 schools. Plié!

Free turkeys to those in need. 🦃 Is it just us or did Thanksgiving just come out of nowhere? Well it’s right around the corner and there are several non-profits and organizations in Houston providing free turkeys and meals to those in need. A few of those spots are: Shoeboxx Houston, Daiquiri Land, Taylor Law Firm, and much more.

Outsiders… like the book? Another addition to the page to stage pipeline, the classic book (that still continues to get assigned to middle and high school reading) The Outsiders is now a Tony Award-winning show with a big fanbase. You can catch The Outsiders musical at the Hobby Center through Sunday.

Louvre Couture x MFAH. The Louvre Museum introduced their inaugural fashion exhibition last spring winning international audiences including two Houston curators. The Louvre Couture at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston is now open this weekend featuring over 100 looks, even a few that may have been worn be Beyoncé.

This week’s coffee is on us! That means 3 readers will receive a $10 gift card to Siphon Coffee. All you have to do is open today’s issue (if you’re reading this you just did—nice) to enter.

Winners will be randomly selected tomorrow and notified by email in the morning.

Want to sponsor a future issue and treat readers to a local coffee spot on you? Hit reply.

Catch Holiday Montrose Market at Hotel Saint Augustine this Saturday.
