That new, new. Houston Audubon rebranded and changed its name to Birds Houston. Audubon’s legacy came under fire when it was revealed John James Audubon was a slaveholder. Shed the name; focus on the birds! Houston Bird Week is coming up on Sept. 19-26. Axios Houston

Margaritas at sea. Margaritaville at Sea will be sailing from the Port of Galveston starting October 2027. Margaritaville at Sea ships feature: a Margaritaville Casino, Somewhere Spa & Salon, and live entertainment. The new cruise line will be offering weekly sailings to the Caribbean and Central America.
